Birthday boy!!

Me and Mirco Bergamasco!!

Hiya, it was my birthday last week and I am now 13, I spent last weekend up in Rovigo in the north of Italy with friends and I had a fantastic time. I also went to see  our friend Billy Ngawini  play for Rovigo against Fiamme Oro, and I got to meet some fantastic players including Mirco Bergamasco as you can see from the photo above, so thank you so much Billy and Amber for an amazing weekend, and hope to see you all soon. :)

I have got my first match of the season on Saturday the 5th of October against Firenze 1931, we have all been training hard so we are as ready as ever. So wish me luck.

The Rugby Premiership has got off to a weird start with nearly every good team having already lost a match, Saracens and Northampton are the ones to beat, but it is to early in the season to say anything, but I think it will be a very interesting season.

Ehilà, era il mio compleanno la scorsa settimana e ora ho 13 anni, ho trascorso lo scorso fine settimana su a Rovigo nel nord Italia con gli amici e ho avuto un tempo fantastico. Sono anche andato a vedere il amico Billy Ngawini giocare per Rovigo contro le fiamme l'oro, e ho avuto modo di incontrare alcuni fantastici giocatori tra cui Mirco Bergamasco, come potete vedere dalla foto sopra, grazie mille Billy e Amber per un week-end incredibile, e spero di vedervi tutti presto. :)

Io ho la mia prima partita della stagione di Sabato 5 ottobre contro Firenze, ci siamo tutti allenati molto duramente quindi siamo pronti come sempre. Quindi augurattemi buona fortuna.

Il Rugby Premiership ha di un inizio strano con quasi ogni buona squadra già aver perso una partita, Saraceni e Northampton sono quelli da battere, ma è troppo presto per dire qualcosa, ma penso che sarà molto interessante stagione.

Match on weekkend!!!!

I am playing in a small tournament tomorrow with 3 teams (Siena, Pistoia and Lions Amaranto.) We have played Lions Amaranto before and have won, and have heard that Pistoia are nothing to worry about. So we are more than confident but know that we need to go out there like any other match, give it are all and never surrender!, but we are taking a bit a second team so some of the guys can get some experience.

I have been asked to go and play Firenze 1931 the team we played against last weekend, and at the moment I really don't know what to do. It's really hard to decide!!. But please if you have any advice I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

P.S The Heineken cup final is tomorrow Toulon vs Clermont i want Toulon to win but it will be a tight game.

 Sto giocando in un piccolo torneo domani con 3 squadre (Siena, Pistoia e Lions Amaranto.) Abbiamo giocato Lions Amaranto prima e abbiamo vinto, e abbiamo sentito che Pistoia è nulla di cui preoccuparsi. Quindi siamo più che sicuri, ma sappiamo che abbiamo bisogno di andare là fuori come qualsiasi altra partita, dare di tutto e mai arrendersi!, Ma stiamo prendendo un po 'una seconda squadra in modo da alcuni dei ragazzi possono fare esperienza.

Mi è stato chiesto di andare a giocare a Firenze 1931 la squadra che abbiamo giocato contro lo scorso fine settimana, e al momento io davvero non so cosa fare. E 'davvero difficile decidere!. Ma per favore, se avete qualche consiglio sarei davvero grato. Grazie.


PS Il finale della Heineken Cup è domani Tolone vs Clermont voglio Tolone per vincere ma sarà un 
gioco stretto.

Rugby weekend!!

Me and Billy.

Hi, we played Firenze 1931 on the weekend and lost in a very hard match. I played scrum-half as I said would be, I think I played well considering it was the first time I had played in that position. I got took of in the last five minutes of the game, but the boys played well they tackled hard and gave it their all, even though Firenze definitely deserved to win.

Cavalieri Prato also played on the weekend and won in their first play-off match against Calvisano, my friend Billy scored there first try! the final score 24-6 it was a great game to watch and we had good fun at the meal after the match.

Ciao, abbiamo giocato Firenze 1931 durante il fine settimana e perso in un match molto duro. Ho giocato mediano di mischia come ho detto sarebbe, credo di aver giocato bene considerando che era la prima volta che avevo giocato in quella posizione. Sono uscito negli ultimi cinque minuti della partita, ma i ragazzi hanno giocato bene placcato duro e dato di tutto, anche se Firenze sicuramente meritava di vincere.



Cavalieri Prato giocato anche nel fine settimana e ha vinto in là prima gara play-off contro il Calvisano, il mio amico Billy ha segnato lì prima meta!, Il punteggio finale di 24-6 è stata una grande partita da guardare e buon divertimento dopo la partita.

In the moment!

Hiya, my rugby season is coming to a close, we have got four matches left to play and not one of them is going to be easy, we are playing Firenze Rugby Club this Saturday and I will be starting at scrum-half  (n 9) instead of my usual position at fly-half (n 10) I am sure it will be easy enough and it will be great fun, but looking at it in another way, I am playing a position I have never played before in a very hard and important match. Anyway allot of you must have seen the Lions squad that has been chosen to play in Australia this June, I had to say no to Warren Gatland offer because I have all these matches going on at the moment and lots of other stuff, so then his second choice was Jonny Wilkinson but he had to say no as well, because of the French final! So Warren went in to melt down mode, because now he had to pick Farrell and Sexton!!! I felt sorry for the man, but you know maybe next time.

I am going to be doing a new post every week now to keep you guys all informed!
P.s But i have said yes to Stuart Lancaster to play for England this summer in Argentina!! (ahahaha)


Ehilà, la mia stagione di rugby sta arrivando al termine,   quattro partite ancora da giocare e non uno di loro sta per essere facile, stiamo giocando Firenze Rugby Club questo Sabato e io cominceremo a mediano di mischia (n 9 ) invece della mia solita posizione in mediano d'apertura (n = 10) sono sicuro che sarà abbastanza facile e sarà molto divertente, ma guardando in un altro modo, sto giocando una posizione che non ho mai giocato prima in una partita molto duro e importante Comunque di sicuro qualcuni di voi deve aver visto il Lions  chesono stati scelti di giocare in Australia questo mese di giugno, ho dovuto dire di no all' offerta di Warren Gatland  perché ho ​​tutte queste partite in corso al momento e un sacco di altra roba, così poi la sua seconda scelta era Jonny Wilkinson, ma ha dovuto dire di no così, a causa della finale francese! Così Warren entrò in depressione, perché ora doveva prendere per forza Farrell e Sexton! Mi è dispiaciuto per l'uomo, ma sai forse la prossima volta. 

Io inziero' a fare un nuovo post ogni settimana per tenervi tutti informati.
P,S Comunque ho detto si all' offerta di Lancaster di giocare per l'Inghliterra questa estate in Argentina!!!!(ahaha)

Just Me

Hiya, i think I better tell you guys what has been going on in the last few months (rugby wise) obliviously!.
Well, I am playing fly-half for Siena under 14 (fantastic) I have played every match of the season so far and have come off only once. I have scored 3 tries not that many compared to last seasons 17 tries, but that is not important. We have won a few and lost a few, but all the guys know that we can do so much better. From  what I have seen a lot of the boys mentality towards the game has changed, they take it a lot more seriously than they did at the start of the season. Sometimes it is hard going in to a game knowing that we have all worked hard and want it so much, and then coming out, and it just doesen't go your way. But we have won our last 3 matches and don't want to stop now. Last weekend we played Firenze 1931 and won 31-22 it was a very famous win for us, because it was the first time Siena under 14 had ever beaten Firenze in Siena's history.

As you will all know the Six Nations has started, I think it has been quite an odd six nations so far with Italy beating France, England beating Ireland and then Wales beating France after not having won in their last 8 games. Anyway will see. I'm of to Rome on Saturday to see Italy v Wales, that will be an interesting match.
I'll try to keep in touch more, but you know with school, rugby, girls, no sorry just school and rugby.
P.S Whoever gets to watch the matches at the weekend do let me know what you thoughts about the matches.

Ciao, penso che meglio vi dico ragazzi che cosa sta succedendo nell'ultimo pochi mesi (rugby saggio) ovviamente. Bene, sto giocando mediano d'apertura per Siena under 14 (fantastico) ho giocato tutte le partite della stagione seminare lontano e sono venuti di una sola volta. Io ho segnato 3 mete non che molti rispetto all'ultima stagione 17  mete, ma questo non è importante. Abbiamo vinto alcuni e perso un paio, ma tutti i ragazzi sanno che possiamo fare molto meglio di scrofa. Da che cosa io ho visto un sacco di ragazzi ha cambiato mentalità verso il gioco lo prendono molto più seriamente di quanto hanno fatto all'inizio della stagione. A volte è difficile andando a un gioco sapendo che tutti abbiamo lavorato duramente e vuole seminare molto e poi venire e appena doesen ' t andare la tua strada. Ma abbiamo vinto le nostre ultime 3 partite e non voglio smettere ora. Lo scorso fine settimana abbiamo giocato Firenze 1931 e  vinto 31-22 che è stata una vittoria molto famosa per noi, perché era la prima volta Siena under 14 aveva mai battuto Firenze nella storia di Siena. Come tutti sapete che i sei nazioni hanno iniziato, penso che è stato abbastanza una strana sei nazioni seminano molto con l'Italia batte la Francia, Inghilterra battendo l'Irlanda e il Galles poi battendo la Francia dopo non aver vinto nel loro ultimo 8 giochi. Qualsiasi che vedremo. Io sono a Roma il sabato a vedere l'Italia v Galles, che sarà una partita interessante. Cercherò di tenere a toccare più, ma non si sa con scuola, rugby, ragazze, non mi dispiace solo scuola e rugby. PS Chi arriva a vedere la partita di sabato fatemi sapere quello che avete pensato sulla partita. Last year at Topolino. Und 12.

Having fun

Having a great time in France in February with friends hopefully go back in the Autumn.
 

At the moment I am in bed with a bad cold missing out on training for our first match on Saturday at Arezzo all of the boys have been given their positions for the season I have been given the role of fly-half, it's a great position just I havent really played there before I'm used to having more space like when I was playing centre or full- back. Playing fly- half means that you are the first man who gets the ball but you are also the first that the oppositon looks to hammer and get the ball off. So I will have to think fast and call the move before the opposition do hammer me. But hopefully I will be there for the match probably not first choice because I haven't trained this week but when the season starts this year I'll been in top form and will be for whole season. I also want to thank Billy and Amber and the whole Cavalieri rugby club for a fantastic day on Saturday when I was aloud to bring the kicking tee on for Cavalieri.

I just wanted to thank those who follow this blog especially Mum and Dad who came up with the idea but I personally think they did it because they where getting bored of me talking to them about rugby all the time and I could tell somebody else.

Al momento io sono a letto con un brutto raffreddore perdendo traning per sono prima partita il Sabato ad Arezzo tutti i ragazzi è stato dato ci posiziona per la stagione mi è stato dato il ruolo di mediano d'apertura, è una posizione fantastica semplicemente non ho davvero giocato lì prima io sono abituato ad avere più spazio come quando stavo giocando al centro o estremo giocare mediano d'apertura tu se il primo uomo che prende la palla ma la vostra anche il primo che l'opposizione cerca di e ottenere la palla fuori. Quindi dovrò pensare velocemente e chiamare la mossa prima che l'avversari mi placcino Ma spero che i saro' sia per la partita, probabilmente non è la prima scelta perche' non mi sono allenato questa settimana ma quando la stagione inizia quest'anno sarò stato al massimo della forma e sarà per la stagione intera. Voglio anche
per ringraziare Billy e Amber e il foro di Cavalieri Rugby Club per una fantastica giornata il Sabato, quando mi è stato permesso di portare il cinesino il per Cavalieri.


Volevo solo ringraziare tutti coloro che seguono questo blog appositamente mia mamma e papà che è venuto fuori con l'idea, ma io personalmente credo che lo ha fatto perché in cui ottenere bordo di me a parlare con loro di rugby tutto il tempo e ho potuto dire a qualcun altro.

Rugby season has started

Hiya, been doing quite alot in the last month.

I've been to England for 10 days, I first head to Devon to catch up with friends and family and then go up to Newcastle to see more family but also to go to (NeHiya, been doing quite alot in the last month.

I've been to England for 10 days, I first head to Devon to catch up with friends and family and then go up to Newcastle to see more family but also to go to (Newcastle Falcons Rugby Camp) which is absoulutley rubbish there was no rugby involved  it was running with 6 year olds and playing dodgeball with rubber rugby balls, and I was the oldest there. So that was quite disapointing because i anted to play rugby and train before the season started, but no instead i learn't how to play dodgeball. :(

But we have moved house nearer to Siena a place called (Santa Lucia) I guess I miss my old house so much because it was our first house in Italy. But the even scarier thing is I'm going back to school tomorrow and it's a new school in Siena so I'll hardly know anybody but it's a 10min walk to rugby.

Training started last week with the under 14's,  great to be back fighting for the fly-half position with my friend Pietro always going to be hard but thats rugby. Speak soon.

P.S my 12th birthday on Tuesday the 18th.Ciao, facendo un bel po 'nell'ultimo mese.

Sono stato in Inghilterra per 10 giorni, ho la testa a Devon per uscire con gli amici e la famiglia e poi andare fino a Newcastle per vedere di più la famiglia, ma anche per andare a (Newcastle Falcons Rugby Camp) che è certamente spazzatura non c'era di rugby coinvolta era in esecuzione con 6 anni e giocare palla avvelenata con gomma da rugby, e io ero il più vecchio lì. Così che era piuttosto deludente perché ho a giocare a rugby e allenarmi prima dell'inizio della stagione, ma non invece i ho imparato come giocare a dodgeball. : (

Ma abbiamo cambiato casa più vicina a Siena un luogo chiamato (Santa Lucia) Credo che mi manca la mia vecchia casa così tanto perché era la nostra prima casa in Italia. Ma la cosa ancora più spaventosa è che io torno a scuola domani ed è una nuova scuola di Siena quindi mi limiterò a malapena conosco nessuno, ma si tratta di un 10 minuti a piedi al rugby.

La formazione ha iniziato la scorsa settimana con l'Under 14, il bello essere di nuovo in lotta per il mediano d'apertura posizione con il mio amico Pietro sempre sarà duro, ma questo è il rugby. Parla presto.


P.S il mio 12 ° compleanno il Martedì il 18.

Hi, as you all know I went to see DURAN DURAN on Saturday with my Mum I actually thought it was really great, but my Dad was right on one thing they were all quite sweaty. I particulary liked Roger Taylor and Nick Rhodes.

I also bought my new boots for next season today. P.S Can't wait to go to England for my rugby camp.

Salve, come tutti sapete sono andato a vedere DURAN DURAN il Sabato con mia mamma ho effettivamente pensato che fossero davvero grandi, ma mio padre aveva ragione su una cosa erano tutti molto sudati. Ho particolarmente apprezzato Roger Taylor e Nick Rhodes.

The end of an era

Jonny Wilkinson announed his retirement from International Rugby this morning, this really is an end of an era I have always looked up to him. I have both of his books, he has always been a great player definatly one of the bests in my book but he's not gone yet I exspect he's still got a few years left at Toulon. P.S A new Jonny Wilkinson will soon be in town... well at least 6 years yet but his name is ARCHIE!!!!!!

Sta mattina Jonny Wilkinson ha annunciato il suo ritiro dal rugby internazionale questo e davvero la fine di un era io lo sempre ammirato ho tutti e due dei suoi libri e sempre stato un mito per me ma ancora non senne' va credo che avra' ancora un paio di anni al Toulon. P.S C'e un nuovo Jonny Wilkinson che sta arrivando va be arrivera fra 6 anni cosi ma il suo nome e' ARCHIE!!!!!!

Well there is some good news and there is some bad news, the good news is my cast is off, but the bad news is I've still got to take it easy for another 20 days, the Doc. said I could train but no physical contact and it's a bit diffucult considering I play RUGBY!!

Allora c'e la buona notizia e la brutta notizia la bella e' che mi hanno tolto il gesso, la brutta e' che devo stare a riposo per altri 20 giorni, il dottore mi ha detto che posso allenarmi ma niente contatto fisico ed e' un po' difficile visto che gioco a RUGBY!!

I went to see my team play yesterday at a tournament in Sesto Fiorentino I was my Dad's right hand man, I would rather he was my left hand, beacuse I've only got 1 at the moment.
We had 2 teams as normal each in diffrent pools the pools where.....

I was helping my Dad with Siena 2 for a change, our first match against Mugello was an easy win made difficult, it finished 5-1 for our team. Our second match against Firenze 2 was really tough and it all seemed to be going really bad when my friend Pietro one of the best players in the team hurt his knee diving into a tackle, he had to stay off the pitch a couple of minutes at that point we where 3-1 down with two minutes to go. I told him that as soon as he got back on they would score 2 tries to draw and when he went back on what happend? and of course are team scored 2 tries in the time of 1 minute, it amazing. Our last match against Bombo who are quite a good team, we just ran out of steam and we got beaten quite convinsingly 4-0.

The other team had an ok day too, drawing against Cavalieri Prato 4-4 and drawing 2-2 against Firenze 1 but losing 3-2 to the home team Sesto Fiorentino.

I think that we are getting better but until we can learn to tackle properly bigger teams will always beat us, we still seem to be scared of the big boys.


Ieri sono andato a vedere la mia squadra giocare a un concentramento a Sesto Fiorentino ero il braccio destro del mio babbo sarebbe meglio se lui fosse il mio braccio sinistro visto che ho solo uno al momento avevamo 2 squadre come il solito in gironi diversi i gironi erano........

Aiutavo il mio Babbo con il Siena 2 la nostra 1 partita contro il Mugello era una vittoria facile diventata difficile e' finita 5-1 per noi. La nostra 2 partita era molto dura contro il Firenze 2 e sembrava di andare molto male quando il mio amico Pietro uno dei migliori giocatori della squadra si e ' fatto male al ginocchio tufandosi per placcare a dovuto rimanere fuori per un' paio di minuti a quel punto stavvamo perdendo 3-1 con 2 minuti alla fine. Li ho detto che appena rientrava in campo avrebbero fatto 2 mete per pareggiare e quando e' rientrato che 2 mete era un miracolo. La nostra ultima partita contro il Bombo una squadra abbastanza forte eravamo stanci e siamo stati sconfitti facilmente 4-0.

L'altra squadra ha avuto anche loro una bella giornata pareggiando la prima contro i Cavalieri Prato 4-4 e pareggiando 2-2 contro il Firenze 1 ma perdendo l'ultima 3-2 contro il Sesto Fiorentino.

Credo che stiamo migliorando ma fin quando riusciamo a placcare le squadre forti ci batterano sempre.

Saturday I went to see Cavalieri Prato play Newport Dragons in the Amlin Cup pool, sadly Newport beat Cavalieri pretty well 3-33 but I think they both played well. I wanted to get my cast signed by some of the players but we diden't have a marker pen, so next time when I go to see Cavalieri play I won't have my cast on anymore but I will make my own PROFESSIONAL RUGBY PLAYER AUTOGRAPH BOOK. P.S I can't wait to get my arm out of this thing.

Sabato sono andato a vedere i Cavalieri Prato giocare contro Newport Dragons nella partita del girone dell'Amlin Cup tristemente Newport ha battuto i Cavalieri abbastanza bene 3-33 ma penso che tutte e due le squadre hanno giocato molto bene, volevo prendere l'autografo di qualche giocatore sul mio gesso ma non avevamo la penna giusta, sicce' la prossima volta che vado a vederei Cavalieri giocare non avro' piu' il mio gesso ma faro un libro di RUGBISTI PROFFESIONALI DEI AUTOGRAFI. P.S non vedo l'ora di togliermi questo coso.

BROKEN

Our team played a tournament at home on Sunday we had two teams as normal both teams did ok, but we still have alot to work on. We still don't seem to be able to pass the ball out to the wing without stopping at least once or twice, and the tackling is still poor.

My Sunday was really bad! I lasted 5 mins before I BROKE my arm. I came back on but it was to painfull this will keep me off rugby for at least a month. I am already bored!!!, Sadly enough it is my left arm and I'm right handed so I can still go to school.

After rugby we had lunch with our friend Billy Ngawini who is having a great season with Prato who are top of the league and playing Newport GwentDragons next week in the Amlin Cup. WE'RE GOING TO WATCH.

La nostra squadra domenica ha giocato un torneo in casa avevamo due squadre come il solito tutte le due le squadre hanno giocato abbastanza bene, ma abbiamo sempre qualcosa su qui lavorare. Ancora non riusciamo a passare la palla fino all'ala senza fermarci almeno una volta e i placaggi sono deboli.

La mia domenica era davvero pessima! Sono rimasto 5 minuti prima di ROMPERMI il braccio. Sono rientrato ma facceva troppo male questo mi fa mancare rugby per un mese. Sono di gia annoiato!!!, tristamente e la mia sinistra e sono destro sicce' posso sempre andare a scuola.

Dopo Rugby abbiamo pranzato con il nostro amico Billy Ngawini che sta avvendo una bellisima stagione con i Cavalieri Prato che sono 1 in classifica giocano questo Weekend contro Newport GwentDragons nel l' Amilin cup NOI LO GUARDIAMO

START OF THE SEASON

I had 2 games yesterday against Sesto Fiorentino and Gispi Prato. I was Captain and I think for the first games of the season we did ok, but our team always start the season slowly, I played Fly Half/Center and did all the kicking. We have a huge squad this year split into two teams A and B my team was the A team and we had the harder group and the B team didn't have it too easy either. We lost our first game against Sesto Fioretino 3-2 they just scored in the last minute, and then we drew 4-4 against Gispi Prato. Each try 1 point and no conversions until next year in the under 14. I managed to score 1 try against Gispi Prato, I think we still need to work on our tackling and our support play. The B team played 4 games with two good wins and two heavy defeats.

Ho giocato 2 partite ieri contro il Sesto Fiorentino e il Gispi Prato. Ero il capitano e secondo me per le prime partite dell'anno siamo stati abbastanza bravi, ma la nostra squadra inizia sempre la stagione lentamente, io ho giocato Mediano d'apertura/Tre quarti Centro e ho fatto tutti i calci. Noi abbiamo squadra gigantesca quest'anno diviso in due squadre  A e B la mia squadra era la A e avvevamo il girone piu' forte ma neanche quello della B era facile. Abbiamo perso la prima partita 3-2 contro il Sesto Fiorentino hanno fatto metta nei ultimi minuti e poi pareggiato 4-4 contro il Gispi Prato. Ogni meta vale 1 punto e niente trasformazione fino all'under 14. Sono riuscito a fare una meta contro il Gispi, dobbiamo sempre allenarci su i placcagi e il sostegno. La squadra B ha giocato 4 partite con due belle vittorie e due sconfitte molto pesanti.

SIENA RUGBY

I've got my first match of the season on saturday against Empoli, last season we beat them quite convinsinly but like are coach says witch is actually my dad nothing is easy, sow we will see on the day.

Ho il mio primo concentramento della stagione sabato contro l'Empoli, la stagione scorsa li abbiamo battuti facilmente ma come dicce il nostro allenatore che e' anche il mio babbo niente e' facile, sicce' vedremo il giorno della partita.

IT'S ALL STARTED

It's all started for us, we have started training. Still way to hot for me and the Italians are saying it's not been a good summer. P.S In 2 days there won't be a 10 year old rugby geek any more there will be a 11 year old more lazy than ever geek.

E' tutto iniziato per me abbiamo iniziato ad allenarci ancora troppo caldo per me e gli Italiani diccono che non e' stata un buon estate.P.S In 2 giorni non ci sara piu un rugby geek di 10 anni ci sara uno di 11 piu pigro che mai.
