First match back!!

I finally started playing again on Friday and had my first tournament on Sunday it was great to play with my team mates again but sadly enough it didn't go that well. It was Black and White teams as normal I'm on the black team, our pool was probably easier than the other but we just couldn't get it together including me, my tackling was poor and I just wasn't concentrating. We won 1 and lost 2 the other team won  2 and lost 2. I managed  to get 3 tries, 2 in the first match and 1 in the last match.P.S IT WAS GREAT.

Finalmente venerdi  sono tornato a giocare e Domenica ho avuto il mio primo concentramento era grandioso giocare di nuovo con i miei compagni ma tristemente non e' andato molto bene. Erano i bianchi ed i neri io ero nella squadra nera il nostro girone era anche piu' facile dell'altro ma non riuscivamo a compiere un bel niente ne anch'io i miei placaggi erano deboli e proprio non riuscivo ad concentarmi. Ne abbiamo vinta 1 e perse 2 l'altra invece ne ha vinte 2 e perse 2. Sono riuscito ad fare 3 mete, 2 nella prima partita e 1 nell'ultima. P.S ERA GRANDIOSO.

Me and James Hook

On Saturday I went to see Cavalieri Prato vs Perpignan it was really great beacuse I got see Henry Tuilagi and James Hook up close, this was Cavalieri's second match against Perpignan first losing 54-20 away in the 1st match then losing again at home 13-30. I also got a few good fotos with James Hook then Timothy Ryan and then Cavalieri's coach Andrea De Rossi ex Italian capitan.

Sabato sono andato a vedere I Cavaliei Prato vs Perpignan era bellissima perche' sono riuscito a vedere da vicino Henry Tuilagi e James Hook, questo era la seconda partita per I Cavalieri Prato contro il Perpignan la prima perdendo fuori casa 54-20 poi perdendo ancora 13-30 a casa sono anche riuscito a farmi delle foto con James Hook poi Timothy Ryan e poi l'allenatore dei Cavalieri ex capitano dell' Italia Andrea De Rossi.

The end of an era

Jonny Wilkinson announed his retirement from International Rugby this morning, this really is an end of an era I have always looked up to him. I have both of his books, he has always been a great player definatly one of the bests in my book but he's not gone yet I exspect he's still got a few years left at Toulon. P.S A new Jonny Wilkinson will soon be in town... well at least 6 years yet but his name is ARCHIE!!!!!!

Sta mattina Jonny Wilkinson ha annunciato il suo ritiro dal rugby internazionale questo e davvero la fine di un era io lo sempre ammirato ho tutti e due dei suoi libri e sempre stato un mito per me ma ancora non senne' va credo che avra' ancora un paio di anni al Toulon. P.S C'e un nuovo Jonny Wilkinson che sta arrivando va be arrivera fra 6 anni cosi ma il suo nome e' ARCHIE!!!!!!

Me and my Bro

I went to see Cavalieri Prato play Lazio yesterday in Prato, it was a really good match considering at the start of the match they where losing 10-0 and came back to win 46-20,Cavalieri scored 4 tries which will give them the bonus point 1 by my friend Billy Ngawini, there kicker Rima Wakarua kicked 10 out of 10 penalties\conversions and of course was named man of the match I also got to get some fotos with a few of the players as you can see above and below.

Good luck to all the boys for the next match away in Perpignan.

Ieri sono andato a vedere Cavalieri Prato giocare contro il Lazio era una bellissima partita visto che all'inizio della partita stavano perdendo 10-0 e alla fine sono tornati a vincere 46-20, i Cavalieri hanno fatto 4 mete che li ha datto il bonus 1 meta di mio amico Billy Ngawini, il loro calciatore Rima Wakarua ha calciato 10 su 10 punizioni\trasformazioni e ovviamente nominato man of the match sono anche riuscito a fare delle foto con i giocatori come potrete vedere di sopra e di sotto.

Buona fortuna ai ragazzi per la loro prossima partita fuori casa a Perpignan.

SIENA RUGBY 27th November 2011

CHE DIFFERENZA' RAGAZZI

My team played on Sunday at home against Bombo Firenze and against Empoli-Firenze. My coach Roberto always says when we're playing at home no one is aloud to sing but Siena, but I'm afraid that we will not be able to make that happen until we work on are tackling and going on are own all the time. But I guess it went ok, we had 2 teams as normal Siena white won there first match against Empoli-Firenze 9-1 and lost against Bombo 5-1 and the Black team beat Empoli-Firenze 7-0 and lost against Bombo 4-0. P.S i can't wait to get back on that pitch.

I hope we will be able to sing soon but we need to start playing as a team and not on our own we need to learn to pass to each other.

La mia squadra ha giocato in casa domenica contro il Bombo e il Empoli-Firenze. Il mio mister pero' viene semplicemente chiamato Roberto ci dicce' sempre che nessuno po' cantare a Siena tranne il Siena, ma credo proprio che non riusciremo a farlo se non si migliora sui placaggi e il vizio di andare da soli. Ma direi che abbiamo fatto abbastanza bene, eravamo 2 squadre come sempre Siena bianchi hanno vinto la loro prima partita 9-0 contro il Empoli-Firenze e hanno perso contro il Bombo 5-1 la squadra nera invece ha vinto contro il Empoli-Firenze 7-0  e perso contro il Bombo 4-0.

Spero che pottremo cantare presto ma dobbiamo iniziare a giocare come una squadra e non da soli e si deve impare a passarci sempre la palla.

Well there is some good news and there is some bad news, the good news is my cast is off, but the bad news is I've still got to take it easy for another 20 days, the Doc. said I could train but no physical contact and it's a bit diffucult considering I play RUGBY!!

Allora c'e la buona notizia e la brutta notizia la bella e' che mi hanno tolto il gesso, la brutta e' che devo stare a riposo per altri 20 giorni, il dottore mi ha detto che posso allenarmi ma niente contatto fisico ed e' un po' difficile visto che gioco a RUGBY!!

I went to see my team play yesterday at a tournament in Sesto Fiorentino I was my Dad's right hand man, I would rather he was my left hand, beacuse I've only got 1 at the moment.
We had 2 teams as normal each in diffrent pools the pools where.....

I was helping my Dad with Siena 2 for a change, our first match against Mugello was an easy win made difficult, it finished 5-1 for our team. Our second match against Firenze 2 was really tough and it all seemed to be going really bad when my friend Pietro one of the best players in the team hurt his knee diving into a tackle, he had to stay off the pitch a couple of minutes at that point we where 3-1 down with two minutes to go. I told him that as soon as he got back on they would score 2 tries to draw and when he went back on what happend? and of course are team scored 2 tries in the time of 1 minute, it amazing. Our last match against Bombo who are quite a good team, we just ran out of steam and we got beaten quite convinsingly 4-0.

The other team had an ok day too, drawing against Cavalieri Prato 4-4 and drawing 2-2 against Firenze 1 but losing 3-2 to the home team Sesto Fiorentino.

I think that we are getting better but until we can learn to tackle properly bigger teams will always beat us, we still seem to be scared of the big boys.


Ieri sono andato a vedere la mia squadra giocare a un concentramento a Sesto Fiorentino ero il braccio destro del mio babbo sarebbe meglio se lui fosse il mio braccio sinistro visto che ho solo uno al momento avevamo 2 squadre come il solito in gironi diversi i gironi erano........

Aiutavo il mio Babbo con il Siena 2 la nostra 1 partita contro il Mugello era una vittoria facile diventata difficile e' finita 5-1 per noi. La nostra 2 partita era molto dura contro il Firenze 2 e sembrava di andare molto male quando il mio amico Pietro uno dei migliori giocatori della squadra si e ' fatto male al ginocchio tufandosi per placcare a dovuto rimanere fuori per un' paio di minuti a quel punto stavvamo perdendo 3-1 con 2 minuti alla fine. Li ho detto che appena rientrava in campo avrebbero fatto 2 mete per pareggiare e quando e' rientrato che 2 mete era un miracolo. La nostra ultima partita contro il Bombo una squadra abbastanza forte eravamo stanci e siamo stati sconfitti facilmente 4-0.

L'altra squadra ha avuto anche loro una bella giornata pareggiando la prima contro i Cavalieri Prato 4-4 e pareggiando 2-2 contro il Firenze 1 ma perdendo l'ultima 3-2 contro il Sesto Fiorentino.

Credo che stiamo migliorando ma fin quando riusciamo a placcare le squadre forti ci batterano sempre.

Saturday I went to see Cavalieri Prato play Newport Dragons in the Amlin Cup pool, sadly Newport beat Cavalieri pretty well 3-33 but I think they both played well. I wanted to get my cast signed by some of the players but we diden't have a marker pen, so next time when I go to see Cavalieri play I won't have my cast on anymore but I will make my own PROFESSIONAL RUGBY PLAYER AUTOGRAPH BOOK. P.S I can't wait to get my arm out of this thing.

Sabato sono andato a vedere i Cavalieri Prato giocare contro Newport Dragons nella partita del girone dell'Amlin Cup tristemente Newport ha battuto i Cavalieri abbastanza bene 3-33 ma penso che tutte e due le squadre hanno giocato molto bene, volevo prendere l'autografo di qualche giocatore sul mio gesso ma non avevamo la penna giusta, sicce' la prossima volta che vado a vederei Cavalieri giocare non avro' piu' il mio gesso ma faro un libro di RUGBISTI PROFFESIONALI DEI AUTOGRAFI. P.S non vedo l'ora di togliermi questo coso.

I'M SO BORED

Me just before I broke my arm last Sunday

I'm so bored I've got to keep this cast on for 3 WEEKS but I am still training, by working on my kicking. I'm finding it easier at school beacuse there is always an excuse when I get something wrong and I can also cheat at test by writing stuff on my cast.

Sono cosi stuffato devo tenermi il gesso per 3 SETTIMANE ma mi sto ancora allenando con i calci sto trovando la scuola piu' facile perche' c'e sempre una scusa se non riesco a fare qualcosa e posso anche barrare con le verifiche scrivendo le cose sul gesso.

BROKEN

Our team played a tournament at home on Sunday we had two teams as normal both teams did ok, but we still have alot to work on. We still don't seem to be able to pass the ball out to the wing without stopping at least once or twice, and the tackling is still poor.

My Sunday was really bad! I lasted 5 mins before I BROKE my arm. I came back on but it was to painfull this will keep me off rugby for at least a month. I am already bored!!!, Sadly enough it is my left arm and I'm right handed so I can still go to school.

After rugby we had lunch with our friend Billy Ngawini who is having a great season with Prato who are top of the league and playing Newport GwentDragons next week in the Amlin Cup. WE'RE GOING TO WATCH.

La nostra squadra domenica ha giocato un torneo in casa avevamo due squadre come il solito tutte le due le squadre hanno giocato abbastanza bene, ma abbiamo sempre qualcosa su qui lavorare. Ancora non riusciamo a passare la palla fino all'ala senza fermarci almeno una volta e i placaggi sono deboli.

La mia domenica era davvero pessima! Sono rimasto 5 minuti prima di ROMPERMI il braccio. Sono rientrato ma facceva troppo male questo mi fa mancare rugby per un mese. Sono di gia annoiato!!!, tristamente e la mia sinistra e sono destro sicce' posso sempre andare a scuola.

Dopo Rugby abbiamo pranzato con il nostro amico Billy Ngawini che sta avvendo una bellisima stagione con i Cavalieri Prato che sono 1 in classifica giocano questo Weekend contro Newport GwentDragons nel l' Amilin cup NOI LO GUARDIAMO

START OF THE SEASON

I had 2 games yesterday against Sesto Fiorentino and Gispi Prato. I was Captain and I think for the first games of the season we did ok, but our team always start the season slowly, I played Fly Half/Center and did all the kicking. We have a huge squad this year split into two teams A and B my team was the A team and we had the harder group and the B team didn't have it too easy either. We lost our first game against Sesto Fioretino 3-2 they just scored in the last minute, and then we drew 4-4 against Gispi Prato. Each try 1 point and no conversions until next year in the under 14. I managed to score 1 try against Gispi Prato, I think we still need to work on our tackling and our support play. The B team played 4 games with two good wins and two heavy defeats.

Ho giocato 2 partite ieri contro il Sesto Fiorentino e il Gispi Prato. Ero il capitano e secondo me per le prime partite dell'anno siamo stati abbastanza bravi, ma la nostra squadra inizia sempre la stagione lentamente, io ho giocato Mediano d'apertura/Tre quarti Centro e ho fatto tutti i calci. Noi abbiamo squadra gigantesca quest'anno diviso in due squadre  A e B la mia squadra era la A e avvevamo il girone piu' forte ma neanche quello della B era facile. Abbiamo perso la prima partita 3-2 contro il Sesto Fiorentino hanno fatto metta nei ultimi minuti e poi pareggiato 4-4 contro il Gispi Prato. Ogni meta vale 1 punto e niente trasformazione fino all'under 14. Sono riuscito a fare una meta contro il Gispi, dobbiamo sempre allenarci su i placcagi e il sostegno. La squadra B ha giocato 4 partite con due belle vittorie e due sconfitte molto pesanti.

SIENA RUGBY

I've got my first match of the season on saturday against Empoli, last season we beat them quite convinsinly but like are coach says witch is actually my dad nothing is easy, sow we will see on the day.

Ho il mio primo concentramento della stagione sabato contro l'Empoli, la stagione scorsa li abbiamo battuti facilmente ma come dicce il nostro allenatore che e' anche il mio babbo niente e' facile, sicce' vedremo il giorno della partita.

WHAT NOW?

KISS OF LIFE!!

Now the All Blacks have won their well deserved Rugby World Cup 2011 final, they had to wait quite a long time though, 24 years,  hopefully not the same players as the 1987 World Cup. It was great to see The French Captain also named man of the match Thierry Dusautoir score and put france only 1 point behind.  In the last 5-10 mins France where still putting the pressure on the All Blacks but then New Zealand stole the ball and kept on going with there forwards until the final Whistle and that was it!! P.S Personly I was always with the All Blacks. In the other match for the 3rd or 4th place the Wallabies just scraped by for the win 21-18 too bad!!

Ora che gli All Blacks hanno vinto la loro molto meritata Rugby World Cup 2011 finale, hanno dovuto aspettare un bel po' 24 anni, speriamo non gli stessi giocatori del campionato mondiale del 1987.  Mentre guardavo la partita quando il capitano Francese anche nominato miglior giocatore della partita Thierry Dusautoir ha fatto meta e ha messo la Francia solo 1 punto in meno e ancora nei ultimi 10/5 min la Francia metteva pressione sui All Blacks ma poi la Nuova Zelanda ha rubbato palla e ha continuato ad avvansare fino al fiscio finale ed ere finita li!! P.S Personalmente ero sempre con gli All Blacks. Per l'altra partita per 3 o 4 posto i Wallabies hanno appena vinto 21-18 che peccato!!

NEARLY ALL OVER

To bad for Wales losing their Captain in the early minutes of the game for a great tackle I think personaly, Wales just couldn't win with only 14 players, but they still did really well to only lose by 1 point the score in the end was 9-8 to France, my Mum wanted the french but thats her for you. The other match was quite entertaining but New Zealand were just to strong in the scrum and around the pitch at full time the score was 20-6 to the All Blacks.


E' un peccato per il Galles perdere il loro capitano nei primi minuti della partitaper un belissimo placaggio personalmente , il Galles non poteva proprio vincere con 14 giocatori ma hanno sempre fatto bene vistto che hanno perso solo di 1 punto il punteggio alla fine era 9-8 per la Francia, la mia Mamma era per i francesima mia mamma e mia mamma. L'altra partita era molto interessante ma la Nuova Zelanda era troppo forte nella miscia e da per tutto a fine tempo il punteggio era 20-6 per gli All Blacks.

I can't believe what happend in the quarter finals, England losing to France and Ireland losing to Wales, I guess England might have a better time in 2015 Rugby World Cup which will be held in England.
New Zealand won quite convinsingly and Australia just beat South Africa.  P.S I have now started saving my money for the final in 2015 when England will win the World Cup.

Non ci credo a quello che e' sucesso nei quarti di finali, l'Inghlterra che perde contro la Francia e l'Irlanda che perde contro il Galles, credo che l'Inghlterra avvra' piu' possibilita' nel 2015 Campionato mondiale che sara' in Inghlterra. La Nuova Zelanda ha vinto convincentemente e l'Australia battuto di poco il Sud Africa. P.S Ho incominciato a risparmiare i miei soldi per per la Finale del 2015 Campionato Mondiale che l'Inghlterra vincera'.

Down but this time out.

I watched the Italy-Ireland game this morning as you can see. Italy Captian Sergio Parisse finished his World Cup 5 mins before the final whistle with a blood injury,(what a way to finish your world cup). Sorry Sergio.
This is the first time Ireland have come first in their pool but like I've said before will they get to the semi finals this time.

Now Scotland are definately out of the World Cup for the first time with out reaching the quarters. They must of been really shocked at half time of the Argentina-Georgia game when Georgia where winning 7-5, but no they lost. P.S Next matches are all tough.

Io ho guardato la partita Italia-Irlanda sta mattina come vedete. Capitano dell'Italia Sergio Parisse a finito la sua mondiale 5 minuti prima del fischio finale con un infortunio di sangue che modo di finire il tuo mondiale. Scusa Sergio. Questo e' la prima volta che l'Irlanda arrivi primo nel suo girone ma come ho gia detto riuscirano questa volta ad arrivare nei semi finali

Ora la Scozia e' veramente fuori dai Mondiali senza arrivare nei quarti sarano stati scioccati al fine del primo tempo della partita Argentina-Georgia visto che la Georgia vinceva 7-5, ma no hanno perso. P.S Le prossime partite sarano tutte dure.

Down but not out

An odd week, lots of school homework and hanging around with friends. A trip to the hospital, saw a man who had dropped a welding torch on his um... shall we say his fruit bowl or nuts and bolts - poor him.
Still off school with a virus (better than a welding torch though). I wonder if that's worse than a bad injury in rugby? I watched the England/Scotland game this morning with my Dad, I felt sorry for them because their only hope is on the FANTASTIC!! Georgia to winning over the great Pumas, I just can't see it myself, but I guess Tonga beet France so nothing is inpossible, before you no it you'll have the likes of Russia beating the All Blacks. Una settimana strana, tanta scuola, compiti, e stare con gli amici. Una visita all'ospedale, ho visto un uomo che aveva fatto cadere una torcia di saldatura sui i suoi parti bassi - povero lui. Sono ancora a casa con un virus (meglio che un torcia di saldatura). Ho guardato la partita Inghlterra- Scozia sta mattina con mio Papa' sono triste per i Scozesi perche' la loro una speranza e la FANTASTICA!! Giorgia che vince contro i grandi Pumas io non lo vedo pero' il Tonga ha Battuto la Francia sicce' nulla e impossibile prima che voi lo sapete le squadre la Russia batterano gli All Blacks. P.S Non si sa mai. Ed ecco dei risultati ecezionali.
